how to delete Watchers in Presence

Hi,

how can I delete Watchers/Contacts from my profile?

On the Web-Site I can see a lot of watchers I don´t know and I want to delete them.

They don´t appear in my Jabber Client in contact lists.

I use Jabber 9.7.4 on Presence 9.1.1.41900-1 and Callmanager 9.1.2.11900-12

Hi Helmut,

Watchers are jabber users who have added you into thier contact list. You would not be able to delete unless those individual jabber users remove you from their buddy list.

But you can remove contacts.

i m not sure whether this is possible in 9.7 version. But in 10.x you can make jabber to show offline contacts also. Login to jabber -- Settings -- View -- check the option "show offline contacts". With this jabber should show all the offline contacts also. Then may be you can delete some old contacts who doesnt log into jabber or unknown conatcts.

OK,

I see my contacts and can delete them,

but in my Watchers List there are correct users (User-ID@Domain) and that´s OK.

But there are also some with mail-address, they won´t work and I want to delete them.

Hi Helmut,

i had the same problem and i fixed that via the 3rd party xmpp client gajim.

You select "Show Offline Contacts".

And then you can delete the contacts from the watcherlist (in gajim called Observers).

I can't understand why that feature is not implemented into Cisco Jabber.
