im&p external file server status is unknown

Hello,

I'm testing IM&P MFT feature in lab; installed two Cucm and two IM&P nodes (software version 11.5 SU4); configured a file server with two directories; created two postgresql databases (CentOS) as per Cisco guidelines.  

MFT feature seems work fine but the status of one ext file server shows 'unknown' for another node and vice versa.  (example: file server that is assigned for Sub node shows unknown status in Pub node).

Is this normal behavior? Could anyone suggest.

I contacted TAC and got informed that this can be related to a bug.

I have the same functionality where it shows unknown for any of the other nodes. Not sure if it's "working as designed" or if you should be able to see the status from any node.

Cisco TAC created bug CSCvn42934 for this issue.

Cause:  Because we have configured external file server on the pub node and given pub node public key in external file server's “Authorized_key” file. So Its not possible to access file server from the sub node.
