Impact of configured organization top level domain name

Hi,

I am enabling Jabber in my environment, cucm is not in the domain, I configured DNS to make SRV and work, but Jabber tries to reach CUCM using the hostname due hostname in certificaed.

I didn't find any documentation, informing what is the impact of configuring the "organization top level domain", could someone tell me what happens if configured this option in production?

AFAIK it should not have any impact. As always it’s recommend to make any changes in production systems in an off hours maintenance window.
