installing UCSC-PCIE-IQ10GF on UCS240M5 Server.

Dear All,

Customer has requested to replace Ethernet Port in BE7K(UCS240M5) server to 10G Fiber. In order to install the card; do i need to remove the PCIE slot 1G ports and install UCSC-PCIE-IQ10GF. Could you help me with procedure to install this card without reboot?

you cannot install PCI card without shutting down the server. you need to shutdown server first and do the replacement.
