Is there a way to reduce padding in the mac app?

I'd like to reduce padding in the mac app.  Everything is way too spaced out, and with the light font choices, I find it extremely difficult to focus.

I'm extremely fond of IRC style layout.  Programs like hipchat allow you to increase/decrease padding, and I really hope Spark has this functionality.   Hidden config file perhaps?

+1. Coming from hipchat, spark takes up way more space per line of chat and it doesn't fit in the same screen space well

+1 Mark, this is a great question as this has a huge impact on the usability of this product.

It was a question though. You didn't answer it, although maybe by punting me to a feature request forum you did.  Can padding be reduced in the product now?
