Jabber 12 user configuration

Hello,

We use jabberLocalConfig.xml file which is located in "%appdata%\Cisco\Unified Communications\Jabber\CSF\Config" to configure settings for users in Jabber 11.9 (We have different user configurations for each site). During first start the settings where imported to jabberLocalConfig.dat file and jabberLocalConfig.xml file was deleted. It seems that this solution is not working in version 12. Is it any workaround?

Most configuration files in Jabber are encrypted on 12.x+, you'll need to provide the configuration via the .xml, or use install switches

I know that there is a jabber-config-defaults.xml where we can configure a global Jabber settings, but I would like to configure user settings (previously configured in jabberLocalConfig.xml file and imported to encrypted jabberLocalConfig.dat file). I'm talking about settings like lastloadeduserprofile, enableautosaveuserpref, enablehuntgroup, spell_check_language_user_setting etc. Below example of jabberLocalConfig.xml file which we used in version 11.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
-<Jabber>
<userConfig value="xxx" name="lastloadeduserprofile"/>
<userConfig value="TRUE" name="enableautosaveuserpref"/>
<userConfig value="FALSE" name="disable_im_history"/>
<userConfig value="false" name="enablesipuridialing"/>
name="spell_check_enabled_user_setting"/>
<userConfig value="1045" name="spell_check_language_user_setting"/>
<userConfig value="true" name="enablehuntgroup"/>
</Jabber>

Is it any way to set these settings in version 12?

You can create different XML configs and assign them to the user using the Cisco support field on the devices config. For CSF devices you can manage this via common phone profile . The field is not the same for the mobile so those need to be hand keyed.
