Hello all the Jabber gurus out there.
I have a situation with Click2Dial in CUCM9.0, IM&P9.0, and Jabber 9.1 environment.
Here is the current dial plan.
---------------------------------
10D DN on the UDP
5D or 10D dial plan onnet
8+7D & 8+10D Local
81+10D LD
8011! International.
---------------------------------
This is working fine.
The complication is with Jabber click2dial from outlook contact.
The outlook contact are either 10D LD # or 7D local number without 8 or 81 prefix.
So when users try C2D, we are sending 10D to CUCM without prefix.
I tried many different ways to address it without breaking what's currently working, and can't seem to come to a good resolution.
I always have some overlap somewhere.
Updating outlook contact is not an option.
I have to stick to the outside access code of 8.
Does anyone know how to get around this?
You can configure Application Dial Rules such that Jabber prefixes the 8, 81, or 8011. The ADRs are only processed by software endpoints (e.g. Jabber) not physical phones so this should not break your existing dial plan.
