Jabber 9.2 having trouble setting up Webex Meetings in client

Hello All,

I have a setup of Presence 9.1.1 using Jabber for PC 9.2.1 (I have also tried 9.2.2)

we are using "webex personal conference meeting center pro 1000" in cloud off premises for our webex.  Webex is using Single Sign On

All things in jabber work fine with presence, calls etc and the webex site works fine as well

we can login, create and join meetings with no problem.

Inside the Jabber Client is the option for Meetings.  I point it to our webex site ( i have tried manually as well as the UC Profile in call manager)

however it always gives me the error of

"Cannot Verify your Account.  Check your username and Password"

We have verified passwords etc and we can login to the webex site just fine via a web browser.

In the UC profile i have tried using HTTP as well as HTTPS but have had no luck.

Has anyone else run into this?

Hi,

 

Did you manage to resolve your issue in the end?

I have a very similar issue. The customer uses Jabber for phone and IM on premise without issue, but can never seem to integrate with their webex account.

 

The UC profile is set but get constant error:

Cannot verfity account. Check your username and password.

 

I know there are correct as I can login to webex when browsing normally.

Hi Oli,

 

We had to go to latest version 10 of the jabber client for it to work.  

I've tried that, but still same error.

I have a feeling it might be the license type the customer is using with Webex. THey have a Webex Premium license, but I don't think this supports Jabber integration.

Although I cannot find any documentation on this!
