Guys, I have Jabber 12 deployed in my desktop estate (Windows 7 and 10). I look after windows not the comms infrastructure but I notice Jabber has a lot of defaults enabled like customer feedback that I would like to disable to stop it trying to hit the web needless (it will be blocked by our proxy/firewall). Can these aspects of the jabber installation be controlled with group policy for windows?

Most of the configuration Jabber uses is either from CUCM settings, or from the jabber-config.xml file.
What you mention, is handled in the .xml file:
<TelemetryEnabled>false</TelemetryEnabled>

So this can be pushed centrally from the Cisco Infrastructure?
