Jabber Buddy List shows IM Address and not users first and last name.

When Jabber 10.5,10.6 and 11 load up they will not "resolve" the users IM address (in our case userid@somedomain.com) to their real names. So the buddy shows everyone by the IM address.

Any ideas on how to resolve?

That is a problem with directory integration, either you did not configure it (and you're missing the pre-reqs for it to work without doing anything), or the configuration is wrong, the Jabber documentation dedicates a whole chapter to the directory integration, I suggest you review it, in case you have not.

I've read over that documentation several times and I have it configured. Also, some users appear correctly in the buddy list. (sorry my original post was a little misleading/incomplete) When jabber loads it randomly displays users as IM addresses and full names. I have it configured to use UDS.

Does it report the connection status as successful??

You can try and delete the cache / reset Jabber to clear anything that might be stuck there.
