We would like to use Jabber for Iphone, Android and Laptop from outside ( internet or 3G ) to access our corporate CUCM but we don't have VPN
Is this possible ?
Pepole told me it is possible in Microsoft Lync
What about Cisco Jabber ?

Not supported method, but there are previous forum posts on using NAT or putting IM/P (CUPS) in DMZ to get it to work (IM only) without VPN.

No VPN .. Have you tried or thinked about using the Phone Proxy option?
of course you might have a firewall on your network.

in my opinion Cisco is not very good at communicating its road maps. Customers can't make desciscions on features that might be available.

I recommend you sign up for CUG User group. I am not sure I agree with Cisco Being non-comminicative. They have a very nice set of road map oriented presentations. Archived as well as upcoming. The Collaboration Edge component is a key differentiatior for them in thier collaboration strategiy. or at least they seem to think so.
Lots of good Info in my expierence alot of it unfilterd the way I prefer it. You need to weed out the wheat from the chaff as with any vendor....

Saw this post from a year ago and noticed that no one updated it regarding collaboration edge.
It's very new - but there is a portal now:
