Jabber Config File - UXMODEL

I see in the documentation that adding classic to the Jabber config file should set it to Classic mode by default. However I have it in mine and it does not seem to take effect, even after an upload and TFTP reset. Does it go in a specific section? I had it at the end but put in in Options when that didn't work, but neither is taking effect. I have attached the config file.

The documentation explains under which section each parameter goes

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/jabber/12_8/cjab_b_parameter-reference-guide-jabber-128.pdf

As you're using a custom name for the config file, you need to configure Jabber to use it, otherwise it will use the jabber-config.xml file it finds in the TFTP.

Hi,

You need to specify that parameter under Client section.

 <Client>
	<UXModel>modern</UXModel>
 </Client>

Please refer to below Jabber Parameters Guide:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/jabber/12_7/cjab_b_parameter-reference-guide-jabber-127.pdf
