Jabber does not connect over VPN after notebook restart

We now have more users working from home again. They use Jabber as softphone only and have the following problem. When starting the notebook, Jabber is in autostart and starts faster than the VPN connection is up. Therefore Jabber can not log in until the VPN connection is established. Often (but not always) Jabber can not connect to Callmanager and does, after a first unsuccessful try, not even retry to log in after VPN is connected. Jabber is running, but the Phone Connection to the Callmanager is not up (red icon in lower left corner).

Does anyone have an idea what we can do that Jabber automatically reconnect again? The user has to log out from Jabber and log in again to connect and establish a softphone connection.

Thanks a lot

Hello,

I am having issues with Jabber and VPN as well. I would start by looking at the ports. Also, what are you using for VPN?
