Hi all,
Is there any documentation on setting up external (PSTN) dialling from the Jabber for Android app?
I’ve read bit on using it for versions of Cisco Mobile using AppDialRules.xml but nothing on Android specifically.
Many thanks

And found:
Application Dial Rules URL | Depending on your Cisco Unified Communications Manager release, you may not see this setting. •If you move or rename the file that is generated by the procedure in How to Make Application Dial Rules Available to Cisco Jabber, enter the path to the file. Use this format:
Note If you enter or change information in this field, select Apply Config, then exit and restart the client application after you complete configurations in Cisco Unified Communications Manager. •Otherwise, leave this setting blank. |
We are running CUCM 8.6.1.21014-1 and the above does not appear in the device config page! So how do use it?

I was very surprise that this is not in some way tied to the device or even partition or CSS!
Either way it now works!
