hi,

I'm not able to get service discovery to work with Jabber for iphone although it works fine with J2W.  following is the jabber-congig.xml details:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<config version="1.0">
 <Presence>
   <PresenceServerAddress>x.x.x.x</PresenceServerAddress>
 </Presence>
 <Directory>
   <DirectoryServerType>BDI</DirectoryServerType>
   <BDIPresenceDomain>mydomail.com</BDIPresenceDomain>
   <BDIPrimaryServerName>x.x.x.x</BDIPrimaryServerName>
   <BDIServerPort1>389</BDIServerPort1>
   <BDIConnectionUsername>username@mydomain.com</BDIConnectionUsername>
   <BDIConnectionPassword>password</BDIConnectionPassword>
   <BDIUseJabberCredentials>true</BDIUseJabberCredentials>
   <BDISipUri>mail</BDISipUri>
   <BDISearchBase1>ou=x,dc=x,dc=x</BDISearchBase1>
 </Directory>
</config>

i checked the log files and i can see the following:

-- 2014-03-27 17:17:13.122 DEBUG [3ae2b18c] - [service-discovery][callOnAuthenticationFailedDiscoveryResultOnDispatcherThread] Discovery has failed due to Authentication Failure for id 1000Calling Callback!

thanks in advance

Hi ,

i'm facing authentication error when J4W prompt me to enter password for Jabber Voice services. I will need to click manual setup and select Cisco IM& Presence and login again.

Any clue ?

hi,

make sure to correctly set your SRV records on your DNS.  to verify, from command prompt type the following:

nslookup

set type=srv

_cuplogin._tcp."your domnain.com"

_cisco-uds._tcp."your domnain.com"

Regards

Ahmed
