Jabber for non Samsung Androids ?

I looked at the beta 9.6 Jabber for Android and at least the beta version still only supports Samsung hardware. 

Has Cisco mentioned when they will release a client that supports a wider range of devices?

Realistically they should be able to support a lot more devices by now.  At least for just the Jabber Voice client. 

Seriously Cisco should be able to figure out how make an App that can do a VOIP call to Android phones!

Hi Craig,

For the 9.6 release we plan on expanding support to 2 non-Samsung devices as well.  We also plan on increasing support from release to release, but covering all devices with voice & video is unlikely due to the fragmentation of the market.  As you know, the Android landscape includes everything from very capable devices to very low cost consumer devices with varying capabilities.

As to Jabber Voice, that client is in maintenance mode so will only see modest device expansion.
