I am researching the best way to have Jabber clients use the correct phone number for contacts. Currently, the customer is using the ipphone field to store the desired local extension for the contact. However, the default is to use the telephone number field in AD.
Is there a way to configure this on the IM&P server, CUCM UC profile, or is it best to use the jabber-config.xml file to override this setting, while allowing all other settings to be populated via the service profiles in CUCM?
