Jabber for Windows and headset control buttons support

Hi all

We are using Plantronics Blackwire C610 and C620 USB headsets for our softphones. The control panel on the wire on the headsets work fine in CUPC but not in Jabber for Windows. The volume control works, but not pickup and mute.

Our users were getting used to the contols on the wire, so it's annoying that is dosen't work in Jabber.

So my question is, when will Jabber for Windows support the buttons on USB headsets?

Hi Kristian,

Headset buttons support is planned for 9.5 release. This release is being targetted for the first half of Calendar year 2013.

Ok, it's a good thing that it will be supported. I just don't get it, why it not was implemented from the start in 9.0.1. That is my opinion.
