I have the follwowing configured but Jabber not able to see other AD users.

1. CSF Profile

2. End User Associated with CTI enabled and CCM End user rights.

3. Users imported from CUCM, and in CUCM from AD

4. Able to login on Cisco Jabber for Windows.

5. UC Service for CTI, Voicemail, Directory is created

6. Service Profile is created with appropriate UC services

7. After Login on Jabber if I see Jabber Status, CTI Connected, VM Conneced, Direcotry "Unknown"

Can any came across with similar problem

Amritesh Anand

Have you configured the jabber-config.xml file pointing to the right OU?

If you haven't configured the file, it's all in the deployment guide.

Hi Jamie,

Thanks for the reply.

Is it needed if you have already integrated the CUCM with with AD and imported the users from search base.

Just to add the above issue. My CSF profile is also not registered even though I am logged in to Jabber.

Also Show Connection Status on Jabber is as follow

CCMIP- Not Connected (I am able to ping CUCM Server)

Directory - Unknow

CTI- Success

Softphone - success

Yes, it's all explained in the configuration guide.

You need to configure the .xml file.

You can log into IM&P but not into CUCM, I'd recommend you to carefully review your configuration against the config guide.

Sure, will do.. I found another reason which would have causes the problem.

My AD is 2013 and CUCM and IM and Presence only support until 2008.

I will try to move to 2008 and see if this problem exists.. will let you know once done.

I still have another issue open. Why is my CSF profile unknown.

End user have CTI Enabled and Starndard CCM End user access

Device Selected in end user with Primary extension

End user associated in IP Phone and CSF profile as well as owner user id.

Still when I login it is not registering. I am using softphone mode
