Hello all,
We are using Jabber 9.1.1 with CUPS 8.6 and CUCM 8.6. CUCM is AD integrated with Authentication. Users of Jabber typically sign in to Jabber using their AD credentials and select Auto Login, and put a check in the box to "Remember password".
I would assume if we have an AD Policy where they have to change their password every 90 days then on the 90th day the Jabber client would generate and Authentication failure.
Is this an accurate assumption?
If so, is there a way to have the changed password automatically updated through to the client so that it's more of an SSO.
Thanks

Hi Ryan
9.2 should have SSO capability; it will require OpenAM to be installed. It's free though, and the steps are documented in the CUP 9.1 guide.
I believe the feature will also be supported with Jabber 9.2 and CUP 8.6.5 end of this month or thereabouts.

Hi guys,
are there any news regarding Jabber 9.2 and SSO with OpenAM?
The Deployment Guide for Jabber 9.2 only mentions "Cloud SSO".
The release notes for the 9.2 Beta had a section regarding "On-Premise" SSO.
So "On-Premise" SSO is not yet supported with Jabber 9.2?

Hi Paul
SSO in 9.2 was going to be a flop as it didn't support SSO with EM (https://communities.cisco.com/message/113360)... in the end they've changed direction and are (I believe - time will tell) going for a more pure SAML integration. (https://communities.cisco.com/message/117112#117112)
