We ceate a new service domain & voice service domain for jabber deployment differs from the internal domain
Say the internal domain is cisco.local and the new jabber service domain is cisco-jabber.com
So we create the below internal DNS SRV records:
_cisco-uds._tcp.cisco-jabber.com ===> Pointing to CUCM server IP address
_cuplogin._tcp.cisco-jabber.com ====> Pointing to IM&P server IP address
in this case, the normal installation of the jabber client for windows should be via CMD command like the below:
msiexec.exe /i CiscoJabberSetup.msi /quiet CLEAR=1 SERVICES_DOMAIN=cisco-jabber.comVOICE_SERVICES_DOMAIN=cisco-jabber.com
But our case is when we tried to install the client without the command line, the client installed succesfully and gets the voice service and the IMP service successfully.
My question is how it works without pushing the new domain information to the client while the installation??
