Jabber Installation Guide

Hi All,

Recently we have received a license file from cisco as one of our customer has requested the Jabber for thier working enviorment.They will use jabber for thier windows based desktop clients, for android phone, iPhones, iPad and Blackberry.

Customer has CUP 8.0 with CUCM 8.0 enviorment with no active directory.

cisco has sent the below license files.

CUP-86-K9-SW-PAK     CUP 8.6 SW Kit & PAK                1

JABBER-IM-RTU           Jabber for Everyone Right to Use   1

it contains the 1200 user licenses.

i have searched alot but fail to find any document from cisco which describes that where do i put this license either on CUP or CUCM.

pls help me to understand that:

where should i add the license file ?

is there any configuration required on CUP ?

is there any configuration required on CUCM ?

how do i configure it on blackberry ?

if there any Video link is availble which describes these steps or any document then pls share.

You only enable the user for CUPS/CUPC on CUCM once you've done all the basic config for CUCM user/device/line

i did not found any PAK key in the document where it shows this:
