Jabber integration with UCCX v9

Hello all!

I was wondering if it is possible to integrates Jabber with UCCX v9, specifically (9.0.2.11001-24), at work we are using Jabber like an extra phone, and it works really great! But I would like to know if we can use it for UCCX instead of using hardphone and extension mobility.

Thank you!

Thanks for the reply

Just to be sure, the "softphone mode" is using the option I marked, right?

mmmmmm I dont get it, what is the difference between softphone mode and the regular one?

The chat option is disabled then?

I don't think it is related to chat

I think that when you are using softphone mode, then when you make a call, your ip phone won't reflect this except showing red light on your line button as your line is busy. and when call is answered, you will speak from your pc mic

But when using deskphone mode, and when you make a call, you will see your ip phone is calling the dialed party, when answered , you can pickup the handset to speak

you can say the softphone mode is like using ip communicator

ip communicator also is supported as an agent phone

ooooooohhhhhhhh got it!!

Thanks for all the help Hythamhadad!!

In fact, I hate IP communicator and we are trying to move out of it.

Thanks again.
