We have CUCM, Expressway MRA and APNS push notifications enabled. Some of our users have their desk phone and Jabber iPhone on the same line and account.
When Jabber client on iPhone is in foreground and connected, it receives a SIP INVITE on the call and starts ringing, while on SIP CANCEL, when the call was answered on the desk phone, it stops.
In background mode, the incomming call push notification comes with a delay of 2-3 seconds, which is understandable, but if the user picks up their desk phone during this delay, the Jabber iPhone still rings for 5-6 seconds, regardless that the call has already been answered.
Is there a way to avoid this phantom call rings?
