Jabber mobile & ASA SCEP Proxy

Do i need to set up the SCEP proxy on the ASA if all of my devices will be brought into the corporate network for initial provision?

I'm looking at the Jabber Secure Connect Deployment Guide, and it isn't clear to me what role the SCEP Proxy plays in ongoing use of the mobile devices.

Does the SCEP Proxy have to be set up so that the application can authenticate itself once you walk out of the building?

If so, where can I find more detailed docs on setting up SCEP Proxy?

Thanks!

Hey Michael,

After our conversation yesterday I checked with a  colleague of mine. He said that basically all certificate handling  should be done via SCEP. SCEP is used during initial certificate  exchange and then won't be engaged again until the client needs to  rollover (prior to the certificate expiration).

I think that answers the question. Not my area of expertise but I thought the question was interesting.
