Jabber MRA login restriction for non authorized devices

We are starting jabber deployment for few pilots users. We don’t have SSO. We only created TCT and CSF profile and users can login with their personal android, iPhone and  their personal computers. My management wants to restrict login on personal devices other than company issued iphones and ipad as well as only VDI environment for the desktop app.

Can anyone light up to my shade please?

AFAIK you cant restrict asper the requirement of  your management. When these devices are inside your network, you may  be able to restrict from network level. But MRA AFAIk no.

AFAIK you would need to use certificate based authentication, but that needs SSO/IdP and MDM or some other management app to do that. The IdP would be the one handling the authentication of only managed/registered devices.

They Jabber documentation should cover the topic and probably you can find other info on google
