We are in the process of upgrading from CUCM 6.1.5 to 8.6.2. We have installed all the correct licensing, created a test end user and associated that user with a CSF phone as well as associated them in CUPS with the right CTI gateway and CCMCIP profile. But when we launch the client, there is no option for a softphone. There is not even a Phone Services option under File > Options. When we check connection status we see for Softphone "Not Connected. Connection error. Please go to Phone Services under File > options etc. We don't see a Phone Services option at all. Any ideas?
