Jabber Phone Service Problem

CTModule1
Level 1
Level 1

Hi there,

One of my users have a problem with Jabber phone services, it is not able to connect to UCM, not able to call and etc.

With this user specifically, from my computer, I am able to connect to UCM, and have phone services.

Error which user get's is CJ:2100:2

UCM version 12.5

Jabber version 12.8

I have restarted CTI services, and nothing changed.

I saw suggestion to enable:

Standard CTI Allow Control of Phones supporting Connected Xfer and conf

Standard CTI Allow Control of Phones supporting Rollover Mode

but, all other users which are able to use phone services, doesn't have this enabled.

I am not able to get information as to why it is impossible to connect phone services only from his computer.

I tried with RTMT, but unfortunately I didn’t learn any lessons. Any point to troubleshooting this issue is welcome.

Find out the IP from that PC and see if a SIP trunk, ICT, H323 GW, etc. uses the same IP, if it does, that's your problem.

Restarting CTI and the permissions you mention have nothing to do with Jabber registration, those are related to deskphone control.

You can try deleting the cache on his computer and then try again, if no avail, then generate a PRT and review it to find details as to why it doesn't work from that computer.

Ok, will try that. Good point.

Thank You very much for fast response !

I tried with deleting cache on his computer and jabber cache and it is still the same.

Didn't get anything useful info from PRT...

I was able to capture traffic with Wireshark during registration process, of successful login and one which fails (to compare), maybe it is helpful, and I was able to find following:

I see this CSeq is different, but don't know why.

It was SIP Trunk IP overlapping with PC IP...

Thank you very much, helped me a lot !!!

Well spotted Java (+5).
