Jabber playing voicemail when logging in for first time

Hi,

When an user logs into jabber(windows) for first time, if they hit enter it plays voicemail.  

to reproduce this behavior

1)      Close out of jabber completely, including the taskbar object by right clicking it and choose exit.

2)      Relaunch jabber

3)      Wait for jabber to finish loading

4)      Press enter. it plays voicemail

How to make sure it doesn't do this?
