Jabber Screenshare MRA

When we are offnet and using expressway with MRA for Jabber connectivity, the screenshare option is grayed-out. When on-net and not going through expressway, we have no issues with screenshare.

Is there a way to permit this when connecting through expressway?

Thanks.

AFAIK this is not possible.

If you mean IM screen sharing, that doesn't work over MRA as it requires RDP to work.

If you mean BFCP sharing, that should work, assuming nothing is blocking BFCP

Jaime Valencia,

Is the BFCP traffic is TCP or UDP?

What ports need to be released on the firewall?
Do you have to do any configuration on the expressways?

Thanks,

Google "BFCP protocol" for information on the protocol.

The MRA documentation contains the list of all necessary ports for MRA to work properly.

For Jabber internally (or over VPN), the Jabber documentation contains the necessary ports.

Doesn't need any additional configuration from what it's in the MRA configuration guide.
