Jabber showing varying statuses

We have users who when they are away from their computers are showing varying statuses. Their manager sees them as offline, a co-workers sees them as in a meeting and their actual status is away. Has anyone else run into this or have an answer as to why it's happening?

If you go to those same users and use the presence viewer on CUCM, do you see the same??

And what does it show for that user that shows different status to other people??
