Jabber status always shows available

I have my Jabber client set to show me as away after 20 minutes of inactivity.  However, it always remains available.  This seems to have happened when I set my laptop not to hibernate when plugged in.  Has anyone heard of this?  Is there any way to fix it?

Hi,

Does the Jabber client work as expected when you set the laptop to hibernate when not plugged in?

Is the issue reproducible on any other PC as well?

What is the jabber and CUCM/IM&P version?

Currently I am experiencing the following: the Jabber status always remains green, during phone calls, meetings and so on. Even when I manually change it to "absent", other users see me green.

Also the Jabber icon in the Windows task bar remains unchanged.

Jabber Client Version is 10.5.5 on Windows 7.
