Jabber - Transfer call after caller is put on hold

Does anyone know if there are any plans to leave the options button on the call window after the caller is put on hold?  Currently when the caller is put on hold all option disappear and you are presented with a resume button.

There are no current plans to do this but we are interested to hear exactly which use case you were looking to address.
