We have a handful of people that are experiencing this right now. Most commonly occurring when the users reboots their cell. After reboot Jabber complains that it could not authenticate even though the user has tried to use the proper credentials multiple times. After many unsuccesful attempts the only way to connect again is to "Reset Jabber" and then pull services down again after entering the e-mail address. Has anyone else run into this issue?

Sort of sounds like a device issue; I'm guessing Android? Have you pulled a PRT off the device for a failed login? Can you paste it here?

Typically I'd be quick to blame the device too but it is happening to multiple devices regardless of OS. iPhones/Android devices are both experiencing this behavior. As a start we are investigating possible connectivity issues between our Edge and Core VCS servers.
