Join notifications in Jabber for Windows

Is it possible to enable "join notifications" in Jabber for Windows to get a quick pop-up message when a contact signs in?

I am pretty sure that I have seen this on Jabber for Mac, but never on Windows.

This is on the roadmap Mac uses the growl notification in Mac OS

In windows this doesn't exist

Lync has a feature to tag a contact for status alerts similar to camp on for phones

There is a post that this is being considered no firm release date I have seen
