Little Cisco Jabber Update Issue

Hello everybody,

I have a little problem when I want to upgrade the jabber version in my environment. Let's explain the context:

Currently, we have the 11.8.3 and we want to go to 12.1.2. We use SCCM 2012 to deploy applications.

So I use msi to silently update my jabber. Sometimes, old version is uninstalled but not the new one with this error in event viewer: 

Product: Cisco Jabber -- Error 1714. The older version of Cisco Jabber cannot be removed.  Contact your technical support group.  System Error 1612.

So I found this solution : https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/unified-communications/jabber-windows/118161-technote-jabber-00.pdf. It works but it's not really "plug and play" to automate this.

My question is: Anyone have an other solution ? (or I need to do a script :) )

Please try using MSFT and see that works
