I was looking for an answer to this last night, as well. It took me awhile to remember that we had this happen once before, and that the cause was the /opt volume being out of space.

If you ssh into your MPX server as mpxadmin, run the df command (or df -h for a better output) to see how much disk space is free on the various volumes. In our case last night, /opt had 0M available, which was causing the tomcat service to fail on startup. (This was after restarting the server - before the restart the symptom was certain voice prompts not playing when dialing into a meeting.)

I recommend asking TAC which files are safe to delete, but one set of files that should be okay to delete are older log files. For instance, I cleared out the older logs in /opt/cisco/meetingplace_express/web/logs which freed up around 21M. More space can be gained by deleting older versions if you don't plan to revert back from the current version (but again, you should ask TAC before deleting those files).

old thread but could you (or somebody) please let me know the command to check disk space on various components

eg: /opt

I am new to the meeting place

This is an old post but it saved me! thanks so much.
