MeetingPlace 8.x minimal working deployment

Hello,

we have bought a CUWL Pro licensing for a customer (to have CUCM, CUC, CUP, ...).

Among the other things, we have received a license (MP-85-UWL-PAK - MeetingPlace 8.5 PAK for CUWL) and a media kit (Cisco Unified MeetingPlace 8.5(2) - Application Server for UCS C200) for Cisco Unified meetingPlace (CUMP).

Our questions are the following

• Is it possible to have a working deployment of CUMP with only the Aplication Server, installed on a virtual machine (e.g., without other hardware/software)?
  
• If the answer of the above question is yes, which are the limitations of this scenario in terms of audio, video and web conferences?

Hi

Yes, you can install as Audio only

and 8.5 is supported on VM, currently there is no co-residency support for MP with any other UC or non-UC apps.

This deployment will just have audio and video (need to have lice for both) and depends on server's capcity.

No web, if you need web meeting, you need to have WebEx site, that can be integrated with MP (this deployment is known as type 2 integration or WebEx integration and while installing you choose wheather this is audio only or with webex).
