Hello I am currently working on an install with Presence 8.6 and Jabber 10.5. For the most part things are working fine, however in Jabber there is no way to initate a chat with a contact unless you call them. When you call them the dialiog window pops and you can chat. If you right click a contact there is no chat option and double clicking calls them instead of starting chat. What did I miss? TAC helped install a Jabber Config file yesterday but I can't see how that would be the issue? I don't see options to deny chat.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
J

Hi Jaime Valencia, how are you?
When I click two times to open the chat window, it calls automatically.
Can you help me?

Hi J,
I have the same problem with 9.7.4 and 10.5 Cisco Jabber.

Hello Everyone,
The source of my problem in the end was the domain setting in CUPS. Apparently the domain cannot be just one word. It must have a suffix. So 'presence' wont work. It has to be something like 'presence.com'.
Hope that helps.

Hello,
Where did you changed the domain settings?
Service Parameter Configuration or Presence --> Settings --> Advanced Presence Settings ?
Thanks
