Search and Add contacts to Jabber for Windows without AD (Search from CUCM End users)

Hi

I'm deploying a Cisco Jabber for windows for a customer who do not have a AD in their environment,

They only have End users in CUCM !!

So my requirement is Jabber Windows Client should able to search contact from CUCM End users and should be able to add then to Contact list, is this possible ?

How to do this ?

This is possible starting with CUCM 8.6(2) with the UDS Interface. You will need to modify the jabber-config.xml file for Jabber to switch from EDI to UDS.

Currently we are using CUCM 8.6.1  and CUPS 8.6.1  ? is this possible with this ?

or is there any other method to do this ?
