Spark Join Meeting Experience - is this supposed to happen?

I never use (or want to use) Spark to join webex meetings - can that be disabled?

2nd part - is the below supposed to happen?  I cannot see a way to clear these meeting notices that have passed.

The meeting list appears whenever you use Hybrid Calendar Service and is populated with any Spark, WebEx, or any meeting that contains a video address.  They will appear in the list with the Join option up to 5 minutes before the scheduled start time of the meeting and go away after the scheduled end time.
