Syncing Jabber across devices

Hi all,

Is there a way to sync messages across multiple devices when using Jabber?  I would like for messages I send from my laptop to also show up on my S4 and vice-versa.  Is this possible?

Laptop: Dell Latitude e5430 Windows XP operating system

Cellphone:  Samsung Galaxy S4 Android version 4.4.2

Jaime,

I have gotten asked the same question from clients.  Is it on the road map or is it just a "limitation" of the XMPP protocol?
