Hello folks Rookie question here.... We've recently received an EX90 endpoint and have registered for, and received Callway license credentials. The next hurdle left to tackle is connectivity. We are located in offices that we rent from the building's owner. The owner is good enough to provide a decent wireless network for Internet connectivity, but none of our offices, nor the conference room to which we have access is equipped with an Ethernet drop.
The question at hand then, is this: WHAT would be a good way of connecting the EX90 to the wireless LAN? I've tried configuring an old Dell laptop with WinXP Professional on it to act as a router, but have had NO luck at all in getting it to route packets from my test laptop to the Internet, so doubt it will work so great with the EX90.
I'd like to exhaust possibilities with the wireless angle before asking the landlord to furnish drops, as it would be nice to take this on the road with the laptop for demo purposes.
If anyone has tackled this before and come out successful, I'd like to hear from you.
Thanks much...
Raymond

I would recommend a little firewall, like an ASA 5505 or 5510, on each end and do a site-to-site VPN. TAC probably won’t support it, but it should work fine.

You could also do a GRE tunnel from a router at each site, rather than a VPN tunnel.
