Hi All,
I have issue with the Jabber windows client, whereby i'm unbale to editing the phone services to allow it to register the phone to CUCM.
The Username, Password, and advanced is all greyed out, and can't be edited.
And besides this i see a circling icon which keeps circling forever none stop.
Attached is a screen shot of it.
Appreciate any assiatance, Thanks.

What version of Jabber are you running?
Also is this a CUPS/Webex deployment?

Have you tried running the Jabber client with administrator rights?

Jabber client version is 9.0.5, in a CUPS deployment.
I can't seem to edit the phone details.
Even if i use:-
The Phone will not register in CUCM, i believe it is due to this issue too.
Haven't tried login in as administrator. Will try that out.
But in the deployment all user would not be an administrator, so i really hope it is not due to that.

Hi,
Couple of things to try:
Delete the CSF folder under following location and then restart Jabber:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Cisco\Unified Communications\Jabber\
On restart re-enter phone credentials.
Can you login to the phone service from another machine? If you can then it is a DNS issue. As work around you can add the servername and ip address entry in the host file and see if this resolves the problem.
Thanks,
