Thank you. P2P.

Then it's completely expected it will not work.

So there is no setting for that? Jabber works that way if trying to send attachment to an offline user?

How about if Managed File Transfer?

P2P needs BOTH ends up and running for something to be transferred between them.

Does this also apply to users that are off network? Do they have to be setup with MFT?

If you mean MRA, yes, the MRA configuration guide explains that only MFT works over MRA.

And you can use MFT for file transfer to offline contacts, just tried it, it shows up as a message where you can download the file.

Great. How can i do the MFT?

Thank you so much for helping.

You will need an external DB, and another server where to host the actual files

The problem is the "Attach" icon on our Jabber session is Grayed out. So, what does the files type have to do with the Attach icon (the paper clip) being Grayed out?

The file type has nothing to do with the icon being greyed out. How could it be, the client software wouldn’t know what you intend to select after you press the icon? It’s greyed out because the receiver won’t be able to get the sent file. Java explained in previous replies to this post what would be the cause of this.
