Unity Connection VM Replacement

Does anyone know what Cisco recommends regarding how often the virtual machines should be replaced for Unity Connections. I know if we had physical servers it would be every 5 to 7 years, but I don't know if that is true regarding virtual servers. Thanks.

AFAIK there are no such recommendations. If there are changes to the VM you can find out by looking at the OVA for that version.

The physical server which runs your VM's if they reached EOL we recommend replacing them to avoid support challenges. But for the VM' there is nothing as @Roger Kallberg mentioned and while upgrading change the Vm settings as mentioned in the upgrade guide.
