voicemail Playback in Jabber

first let me say very few of our users have speakers. when a user clicks play in jabber to listen to a voice mail is there a way to get the audio to play through the desk phone?

Unfortunately not.

You can

-play the message from jabber on the computer.
-call the voicemail

You could use Unity Connection Web Inbox page. It can call your deskphone for playback.

Or maybe try visual voicemail / phone view.

Presently their is no way to play the audio via the phone but is a good idea. I will try to raise this as an enhancement with Jabber team.

I've followed the bug report, but just noting that this enhancement is fairly critical, and quite frankly a bit ridiculous that it's not already a feature - since the rest of the app is already able to ring your phone etc.  It should be able to just ring your phone and start playing a voicemail when you click play  instead of requiring that the user have speakers!
