Webex Teams Team Space Moderator

Team moderators are currently unable to moderate new spaces outside of the General space within a team. It is understood that the team spaces are for all members of the team but moderators may need to delete messages from time to time (such as messages from bots, integrations, etc.). Is this something that is being considered for the future?

We are never able to discuss future-looking roadmap detail on the forums as Cisco requires an NDA for that. You can ask your Cisco AM for detail and an enhancement request, though be prepared to include a proper business case.

Im also looking for this feature.

Why wouldnt a space under a team that is moderated already atleast follow the team moderators? Anyone can add people and also remove people.

Can this be implemented? Either follow the team moderators or allow moderators to be assigned for team spaces outside of the General Team Space.

We are looking too for this feature!

The current "moderated" stuff in the teams area is completely useless. Why do i need a moderator in a team, when every normal team member can remove/rename the space or add/remove members in sub-spaces in the team?
The only exeption is the "general" space. This can be moderated and restircted.

Please fix this cisco!

Hello @lorigmedders,

Compliance Officers can delete messages, bots, etc without being part of a Space or Team. You can check this article about the role and a useful example using that role.
