TAPI Developers:

Cisco has officially announced End-of-Life/End-of-Support for Cisco TAPI Wave Driver.  Our TAPI Wave Driver will continue to be available and supported through the Unified CM 8.x release, however Unified CM 9.0(1) (tentative FCS Q3CY2011) will no longer include the TAPI Wave Driver.

TAPI Media Driver introduced in Unified CM 8.0(1), which offers better scalability and additional codec support, replaces TAPI Wave Driver; Both TAPI Wave and Media drivers are currently available in the Cisco 8.x TSP client.

Developer Partners currently using TAPI Wave Driver are strongly encouraged to adopt support for the TAPI Media Driver.
