Hi, I have a client that has the following issue with their C40 codecs. It is currently setup to display the far side on the main monitor (projector)and the near side on the secondary monitor (LCD screen), as soon as we send presentation it gets displayed on the secondary monitor (LCD screen). The client would like the main monitor (projector) to display the far side and view the near side on the secondary monitor (LCD screen) and as soon as they send presentation they would like it to be displayed on the main monitor (projector) and the far side must then automatically switch to the secondary monitor (LCD screen).
I have gone through all the settings and cannot get this to work, is it a limitation with the codec?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Travis,

This is possible using the Cisco C60 or C90 only. The Cisco C40 does not support custom made layout families such as the ones you describe.

Cheers,

Jonas

Hi,
isn't it possible to do this with Cisco TC Console, which supports also the C40?
Thanks

Hi David,

The Cisco C40 only support a limited part of the Video Compositor. It does not support custom layout families. You will only be able to select the available layouts, that is, equal, full screen, large speaker, small speaker and speaker full for selected scenarios.

The Cisco C40 supports all Audio Console features.

Cheers,

JT
